    front and rear arb`s

iv`e read threads on the above and it seems pretty straight forward rs2 front whiteline rear, but there seems to be alot of grief with the rears so.... do h&r not do any. or both just fitted one one my mates rs4 at the rear it was brill 21mm so if s2`s are being fitted with rs2 front what are the rs2 owners fitting as an upgrade? btw his rs4 is pulling 490bhp!!!!

I have a 26mm rear ARB - it has been fine for over a year and tracked on numorous occations - but I just broke the droplink mount off the rear strut so they might need strenghtened for similar stiff rear ARBs.

Do RS4 rear ARBs fit on the coupe?

I have the whiteline rear bar on stiffest setting and its just not enough. I spent the weekend at a tight 14 turn 1.4 mile track and with stock front ARB and the 18mm rear on stiff I still had lots of understeer. I have Koni adjustible shocks and H&R yellow springs (which are not as stiff as I'd like).

When you folks upgrade your front ARB to an RS2 version, do you change your plastic droplinks to the RS2 metal ones?

                Cheers n

I broke a few plastic ones on an 80TD so i doubt they would last long, i only ever used the metal ones on the coupe, no probs so far with the RS2 bar.

On the coupes in the US the droplinks are metal.

Audi changed the specification of the part, if you order the 'old' part you now get plastic I believe.
